Largest-ever $1.2B bond package set for May 7 election in San Antonio

On Thursday, the City Council unanimously approved the proposed $1.2 billion, 2022-2027 bond package—the largest in San Antonio’s history—a vote that now puts the historic infrastructure plan in the hands of voters in the May 7 election.

Dallas developer struggles to gain City Council support for Broadway East project in Government Hill

Construction work continues on Oct. 6 on Encore Multifamily's 386-unit apartment building that consumes most of the land bound by North Alamo, East Grayson, Austin, and West Carson streets.

District 2 Councilman Jalen McKee-Rodriguez is opposing an up-to-$7 million incentive package for a development east of the Pearl by Encore Multifamily of Dallas because it’s composed of all market-rate apartments.

San Antonio Housing Trust PFC approves Friedrich Lofts project despite gentrification concerns
