San Antonio Heron relaunches EngageSA town hall series

About 25 people attend a property appraisal town hall hosted by the San Antonio Heron and Jaime's Place at Jaime's Place, 1514 W. Commerce St. Volunteers from the Bexar County Appraisal District were on hand to answer questions from the audience. May 11, 2022.

We at the Heron are relaunching our EngageSA town hall series. It starts tonight with A Conversation with District 1 Councilman Mario Bravo, an interview followed by an audience Q&A on a range of pressing topics about San Antonio’s central district.

Little Em's Oyster Bar in Southtown welcomes guests during a soft opening recently.

Little Em’s Oyster Bar is opening for lunch service today in a former gas station, and in The Friendly Spot’s original home, on South Alamo and Beauregard streets.
