At the San Antonio Heron, our goal is to get you all of the information on a topic, and present it in a way so that you can decide on your own how you feel about it. Most days, we do this through articles.

Starting tonight, we’re going to start fulfilling this part of our mission in person with a return of our EngageSA series, which we had launched two years ago before the pandemic struck.

A month ago, we did a test run and invited appraisers with the Bexar Appraisal District for a town hall/workshop on property appraisals at Jaime’s Place on the near West Side.

Tonight, we will be interviewing District 1 Councilman Mario Bravo at The Friendly Spot in Southtown, followed by a Q&A from the audience. In the coming weeks, we will interview District 5 Councilwoman Teri Castillo and District 2 Councilman Jalen McKee-Rodriguez in town hall formats—all districts we normally cover

We hope you’ll mark these down on your calendar. All of these events are free and open to the public.
