Thousands of people attended Celebrate San Antonio, the city’s official New Year’s Eve gathering in front of Hemisfair on Friday night. Dozens of food vendors were set up between a couple of music stages and classic carnival games. At midnight, the attendees rang in 2022 as fireworks exploded around the Tower of the Americas.
