The 2022-2027 housing bond committee met Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, for the second time.

Calls for spending all $150 million in potential housing bond dollars on San Antonio’s most vulnerable populations permeated the housing bond committee’s second meeting held Wednesday night at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.

Council passes $24M Lone Star incentive package, despite community concerns

On Thursday, City Council unanimously approved $24 million in incentives to help a partnership between GrayStreet Partners and Midway succeed where so many others have failed: to redevelop the blighted Lone Star Brewery complex.

The San Antonio Housing Trust and developer NRP Group are fielding offers to purchase the Cevallos Lofts, the 252-unit apartment building credited with spearheading growth in that area of Southtown since it was built in 2010.
