Dullnig building purchased by Austin company, beginning new chapter in its 138-year history

The Dullnig building, a local historic landmark, is located at 101 Alamo.

The iconic circa-1883 Dullnig building on Alamo Plaza has been sold to a company linked to a real estate brokerage from Austin.

Gas lights now illuminate Peacock Alley

Adorning the side of the building that faces Peacock Alley are four continuously-operating gas lights by Bevolo, a New Orleans-based company who’s made custom gas-powered lanterns since 1945.
