Developer’s plan to build 8 homes in Dignowity Hill sent back to drawing board

A single-family home development called CherryCourt. is being planned by Mint Development of San Antonio for two vacant lots on the 1000 block of North Cherry Street in Dignowity Hill Historic District on the near East Side. This rendering shows the view from Cherry Street.

A new project called CherryCourt, eight 2-story homes in Dignowity Hill, was recently rejected by the Historic and Design Review Commission.

Rosario’s plan to demolish majority of San Antonio’s El Mirador building receives first approval

Restaurateur Lisa Wong received conceptual approval from a city commission on Wednesday to demolish most of the old El Mirador building on South St. Mary’s Street so she can build a new home for Southtown staple Rosario’s.
