It was another successful San Japan, the 11th annual Japanese animation convention, this Labor Day weekend. Close to 20,000 fans of all things anime and geek and nerd were expected to descend onto the Convention Center. Here are some of the best costumes we saw while roaming around on Saturday.

This “Bob’s Burgers” crew was having too much fun at San Japan on Saturday: Dalia Guerrera as Gene, Marissa Bennett as Louise, Brandon Updegraff as Bob, and Richard and Miriam as Linda and Tina, respectfully.
This “Street Fighter” crew representing at San Japan is Saron Shadrick @SailorGeekette (from left) as Chun-Li, Jesse Watson @missmarquin as Cammy White, Wayne as Ken, Jeremy Cardosa @stryfethewarrior as Ryu, and Roy Aguilar as “Vega.”
Garnet (Tedd Daniels), Peridot (Sarah Blaido) and Pearl Becca Collester) make for a very colorful bunch at San Japan on Saturday.
Pikachu’s bouncy yellow self was spotted several times at San Japan over the weekend. This one was played by Jamie Gonzalez Rodriguez.
Wendy Martin plays “Get Your Groove On,” then gets sad.
Lucia Lobosvilla as Barbara Gordon and Dalton Broback as The Riddler at San Japan this weekend.
Instagram’s @kinshui as Weiss Schnee and @kiki as Jennifer Soup at San Japan.
Fatality!

This is actually Bane and not Devon Kelly.
Nicole Lobos as Magical Girl D.VA and Catalina Lobos as Steampunk Magical Girl (I don’t know either, just roll with it) at San Japan XI.
Tyler Bigler as Marvin the Martian.
Alex Efferson as Lumpy Space Princess (left) and Billy Jguyen as Lady Rainicorn take a load off at San Japan.
