About a hundred marchers gathered at 10 Saturday morning at Travis Park for the 32nd San Antonio International Women’s Day March & Rally. They gathered for about two hours of public comments on the theme “No Nos Moverán—We Will Not Be Moved,” before embarking on the march. Among the issues to shine a light on was defending abortion rights and the rights of transgendered youth. Among the groups represented were the Party for Socialism & Liberation – San Antonio, Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders for Justice in San Antonio, Autonomous Brown Berets De San Anto, Texas Organizing Project, Veterans For Peace, Bexar County Young Democrats, Fuerza Unida, Domesticas Unidas, and the Esperanza Peace & Justice Center. — Heron staff
