CPS Energy sells former HQ to out-of-town firm with hotel plans

The CPS Energy company, 145 Navarro St., is selling one of its buildings in downtown San Antonio, Texas, Jan. 4, 2022.

CPS Energy has sold its former headquarters at 145 Navarro St. on the River Walk to a real estate company that plans to renovate it into a hotel.

Homes in former Southtown arts hub purchased for Airbnb conversion

This home at 1139 S. St. Mary’s St. was recently purchased for the purpose of converting it into an Airbnb.

A local developer has purchased three historic homes in King William from Mike Casey—known as the “Mayor of Southtown” for his patronage of the neighborhood’s art community—with plans to convert two of them into Airbnb rentals.

Adelman negotiating to bring brewery to San Antonio’s Five Points area

This warehouse at 1606 N. Colorado St., which appears to house a company called AB Foam Concrete Supplies, has been purchased by David Adelman.

The developer has purchased a warehouse near North Colorado and Culebra and is talking with a brewer to occupy the space.

The former Estrada Hardware building at 830 W. Commerce St. has been sold to a development team that includes a local real estate agent.

A group that includes local real estate agent Dix Densley has purchased a historic landmark on the near West Side with plans to renovate it in a way that “will pay homage to the building and its history.”
