Restaurant, office upgrades planned for CPS Energy’s former San Antonio River Walk building

BH Properties of Los Angeles plans to upgrade the offices of this former CPS Energy building at 146 Navarro St., while adding restaurant space to the lower floor.

Los Angeles-based BH Properties plans to refurbish CPS Energy’s former River Walk office building, while adding a street-level restaurant.

Leeds building restoration in west downtown San Antonio approved by historical commission

Olivo: Lone Star Brewery’s $24M incentive deal needed more critical analysis

The former Lone Star Brewery is eyed for redevelopment by Midway and GrayStreet Partners.

Any concerns about the sheer size of the Lone Star’s $24 million incentive deal, or over the potential displacement of nearby residents, were outweighed by the fact that someone is finally breathing new life into these ghostly industrial shells after 25 years.

Developers of $400M Riverplace project sign incentive agreement with city

Riverplace is a planned $400 million mixed-use development in northwest downtown that would occupy both sides of the River Walk.

Riverplace would fill about 3.2 acres of land with a 20-story multifamily building, a 17-story condominium building and an office building of undetermined height, along with the 21-story Dream Hotel.

San Antonio Express-News relocates into Light building, will now print in Houston

The San Antonio Express-News building on Avenue E and Third Street in 2019.

In its latest cost-cutting move, the San Antonio Express-News is vacating the building it’s occupied since 1929 and relocating all printing to the Houston Chronicle, also owned by corporate parent Hearst Corp.
