Starbucks not opening on contentious Government Hill property

Starbucks says it never seriously considered opening a coffee shop on Walters Street and I-35 in Government Hill, where a plan to demolish nine homes for commercial use has been met with resistance.

Christopher Columbus statue protest turns confrontational, but without violence
